PRECAUTIONS DURING PREGNANCY

Some PRECAUTIONS for Pregnant ladies:

        Now a days 1 in 10 couples suffering from fertility problems. So getting pregnant is a great blessing. Maintaining healthy pregnancy untill term is another difficult thing.so here, I would like to share some tips for a healthy pregnancy. These tips are exclusively for "Precious pregnancies", means those who got pregnant as a result of treatments, those who had or have PCOD, Thyroid problems, abortion or ectopic gestation histories, cervical incompetence etc.


🚫Avoid pappaya, pineapple, ellu(Sesame), uluva(Fenugreek) throughout pregnancy..
🚫Avoid dates, kumkumappovu(Saffron) for first 3Months.. dates after 3Months is good for normal delivery.Saffron after 4Months help to reduce nausea,appetite drop etc.
🚫Avoid intercourse for first 3Months and also in last trimester.
🚫Avoid long distance travelling in first 3Months..Avoid flight travelling in first 4Months and also after 32 Weeks. Avoid travelling in auto and bike throughout pregnancy.
*Avoid lifting heavy weights,bending double and climbing steps atleast for first 3 Months.
🚫Drink plenty of water, atleat 10 to 13 Glass per day. Urinate immediately when u feel so.. ( U can feel increased frequency of urination in 1St and 3Rd trimester).
*Drink barley water or malarpori water after 7months which help to reduce oedema eventhough urinary frequency is increased.
🚫Eat healthy foods, fruits, nuts etc. Avoid junk foods and carbonated drinks. It is always better to have small meals several times a day during pregnancy. As it will help you stay filled, fit and healthy.Try to minimise coffee and tea.
🚫Think good and read good books..
🚫The best time to announce your pregnancy is after 3Months.
*Avoid unnecessay tensions and worries.Believe it or not, the emotions and mood of the mother does have a large impact on the baby’s emotional wellbeing. Hence, it is very important to keep yourself calm, positive and happy. Do mild excercises,breathing excercises and meditations.
*Sleep when ever u feel sleepy.Increase your sleeping hours..Ideal -8 Hrs at night, 1 to 2 Hrs in day.
*Avoid tight clothes and high heeled chappals.
* The final thing is when ever u feel any alarming symptom immediately rush to your Gynecologist.
